Operator Cancellations

The Operator reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any trip should weather or any other circumstances require it. Once the trek has departed Cusco, no part of the package payment is refundable in the event that an individual or group is unable to continue with the trip, for any reason. If the trip is canceled before departure from Cusco, due to weather or any other circumstance, the client will receive a full refund through the same paid method. If the tour is canceled by the operator due to forces of nature or any other reason after the tour has left Cusco, no refunds will be issued. Clients take full responsibility knowing that the operator cannot control the weather and there is always the possibility of hiking in rain, wind, snow or fog. The conditions may change at any time and without prior notice. If the operator needs to cancel the tour mid-hike, no refunds will be provided.

Dietary Requirements

While we try to accommodate most reported special dietary requirements, we work in an extremely isolated environment and this is not always possible. We must be aware of any dietary requirements prior to any walk or we may not be able to meet this need. If you have a life-threatening food allergy, you should carry the appropriate medical equipment in case a contamination reaction occurs.

Confirmation Email

Once your payment is complete, a booking confirmation will be emailed to you which will include important details about what to expect, what you need to bring, what is supplied and where you need to be at what time. Be sure to read this information carefully to ensure you are adequately prepared for your hike. You are responsible for ensuring that you are dressed appropriately and have the appropriate footwear to undertake the hike.
